An insulation contractor in Pico Rivera since 2020

B&J Pico Rivera Insulation Company is fully licensed and insured, and we start every job by showing you what's really in your attic, walls or crawl space.

Spray foam insulation fills the spaces between exposed wooden roof trusses in an unfinished attic.

How I learned insulation from the inside

Before I started this company, I spent years doing upkeep for a property management company, crawling through attics and under houses between tenants. That's where I learned that insulation, air leaks, the roof and old wiring all affect each other, so a problem in one usually shows up in another.

I started B&J Pico Rivera Insulation Company here in 2020 to do that work carefully for people who own their homes. Homeowners with older houses call us, and so do landlords and property managers who know what it costs when a problem gets covered up. If your roof leaks or the wiring up there is old, I'd rather tell you to fix that first than bury it under new insulation.

What I care about most is that you understand your own house, so you can make a good choice now and spot a bad one later. Those years in lived-in homes also taught me to work clean, and our crew keeps your house livable while we're there. You'll find every service we offer on our home page.

What you get when we insulate your home

You see it before deciding

I take photos of your attic, walls or crawl space and walk you through them in plain words, so you know what's there before you decide anything or see a price.

Problems found before they're covered

Old insulation that got soaked or full of droppings, gaps around ceiling lights and pipes, and buried vents need fixing first, or new material just hides them and the problem stays.

Material that fits your house

We help you choose foam, blown-in loose fill or batts by how your house is built. Foam costs more but seals air too, which usually makes sense when ducts run through the attic.

How an insulation job goes with us

  1. You call or write

Call (562) 271-1051 any day from 7 AM to 11 PM, or use our contact form. We get back to you within one business day to set a time for me to come out.

  2. I look and write it up

I check what's already up there and take photos, then give you a written estimate, free and with no obligation. The price mostly turns on what has to come out, the gaps to seal and the material you pick.

  3. Our installers do the work

Before we start, we check with the city or county building office for your address and handle any permit paperwork and inspections the job calls for. I go over our installers' work with you before we call it done.
