B&J Pico Rivera Insulation Company, picoriverainsulationcompany.com, sales@picoriverainsulationcompany.com

Agreeing to these terms

These terms apply when you use this website or hire B&J Pico Rivera Insulation Company for work at your home or business. By browsing the site, asking for an estimate or booking a job with us, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or book work with us.

In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean B&J Pico Rivera Insulation Company, and "you" means the person using the site or hiring us. If a signed estimate or agreement for your job says something different from these terms, the signed document controls for that job.

The services we offer

We're an insulation contractor in Pico Rivera, CA, and we work in Pico Rivera and the cities around it. Our work includes attic, wall, crawl space and blown-in insulation, spray foam, air sealing, vapor barriers and removing old insulation. We're fully licensed and insured. The home page lists our services, and you can read more about who we are on our About page.

What the site says about the work is general information. The actual scope of your job is what's written on your estimate or agreement.

Estimates and pricing

Our on-site estimates are free and come with no obligation. An estimate is based on what our crew can see and measure during the visit, such as how many inches of insulation are already up there, the condition of the attic or crawl space and how easy the space is to reach. It's good for the period written on it, and prices can change after that.

Some problems only show up once the job is open, like old insulation that was soaked or full of droppings, hidden gaps or damaged framing. If we find something that changes the work, we'll stop and talk it through with you first, and we won't charge for extra work you haven't approved.

We don't post set prices on this site, because every house is different. Your price is the one on your written estimate.

Scheduling, access and cancellation

We'll agree on a start date with you and let you know right away if weather, material supply or another delay pushes it back. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please call us at (562) 271-1051 as early as you can, so we can give the slot to someone else.

If you cancel after we've ordered materials for your job or started work, you may owe for those materials and the work already done, as your agreement explains. Any cancellation rights you have under California law stay in place, and nothing in these terms takes them away.

Please give our crew clear access to the attic, crawl space or work area, and keep kids and pets away while we work. Some products, such as spray foam, have a re-entry time, which is how long you need to stay out before coming back inside. We'll tell you what it is for your job, and we ask that you follow it along with any instructions from the product's maker.

Payment

Your estimate or agreement lists what's due and when, including any deposit. Unless it says otherwise, the final balance is due when the work is done.

If a payment is late, we may pause any remaining work until the account is current. Unpaid balances may carry late charges where the law allows, and we keep the remedies California law gives contractors to collect what's owed.

Warranties and disclaimers

We stand behind our work and want you satisfied with it. If something isn't right, call us and we'll come back and look at it. Any written warranty on our labor will be stated in your agreement, and warranties on materials come from their makers, on the makers' terms.

Beyond what's written in your agreement and what the law requires, our work and this website come without other warranties, express or implied, including any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. We can't promise a set change in your power bill or how a room feels, because that depends on the house, the weather and how the home is used.

The information on this site is general guidance. We try to keep it accurate, but it doesn't replace an on-site look at your house.

Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, such as lost use of a room, that come from using this website or our services. For any job we do, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.

We're not responsible for problems that existed before our work, or for damage from conditions we pointed out that you chose not to fix, such as a roof leak or a plumbing leak. Nothing in these terms limits liability that California law won't let a business limit.

Resolving disputes

If you have a problem with our work or a bill, please call us or reach us through our contact page before anything else. Most issues get sorted out quickly once we know about them.

If we can't settle it by talking it through, either of us may bring a claim in small claims court if it qualifies, or in the courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

Governing law

These terms, your use of this site and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time by posting a new version on this page, and the changes apply from the day they're posted. The terms in a signed agreement for your job don't change unless we both agree in writing.

If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.
